With a tradition of more than 7 decades, today the University has three faculties, each of the faculty providing distinctive sub-specialisations in the field of Health, ranging from Medicine to Dentistry or Pharmacy. Part of the “Victor Babes” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Faculty of Dentistry was established in 1963 as a result of the increasing demand of oral health specialists across the Western part of Romania. Having a long tradition in preparing future dentists, the faculty has nurtured throughout the years high academic standards and strives to continuously update its approach as to fully meet the innovations in the field. It has been involved in numerous projects together with international partners and is part of the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE). Currently, the faculty offers the chance for international students to study Pharmacy in French in Romania’s city of Timisoara, one of the most dynamic and culturally active places in Romania.
