Yes, diplomas released by Romanian educational institutions are internationally recognized based on the fact that Romania is a member of the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region, otherwise known as the 1997 Lisbon Recognition Convention, the key legal instrument for recognition of qualifications across UNESCO's Europe and North America Region.
